Welcome to Photographers.LK (“Website”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Platform. If you do not agree, please do not register or use the Platform.

1. About Photographers.LK

Photographers.LK is an online directory and promotional platform for photographers. It allows photographers to register, create a profile, and (after payment and approval) publish their profile for public viewing. Public users may search photographers by name and location and view basic contact details.

2. Registration & Account

• You must provide accurate and current information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities performed under your account.
• We may request verification or additional details for security or quality purposes.

3. Profile Publishing & Public Visibility

After registration, you will have access to a profile dashboard to update your details. Your profile may be published publicly only after payment (if applicable) and administrative approval.

Once published, your profile may display (as provided by you) including but not limited to: name, district/city, address, telephone number, and other professional details. These details will be visible to public users and searchable on the Platform.

4. Annual Fee & Validity

We charge an annual fee to maintain and promote the Platform and to cover administrative and server costs. The subscription period is one (1) year from the registration date or payment confirmation date (as applicable).

• Fee supports: hosting/server costs, maintenance, security, platform development, and promotion.
• Renewal may be required to keep your profile publicly listed.
• If not renewed, your profile may be unpublished or hidden from public search.

5. Payments & Refund Policy

• Payments are service/admin fees for listing and platform maintenance.
• Unless required by law, payments are generally non-refundable once the profile is approved and published.
• Promo codes, if provided, are limited offers and may be revoked if misused.
• We may change pricing, packages, or features at any time.

6. User Responsibilities

• Do not post false, misleading, offensive, illegal, or harmful content.
• Do not upload copyrighted content without permission.
• Do not use the Platform for spam, fraud, or harassment.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you publish.

7. Admin Rights

We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, edit formatting, or remove profiles/content to maintain quality, compliance, and platform standards. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

• Photographers.LK is a listing/search platform only and does not guarantee bookings or clients.
• We are not responsible for agreements, disputes, or transactions between photographers and customers.
• We are not liable for damages, losses, or claims arising from use of the Platform to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Data & Privacy

By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and storage of your information to provide services. Published profile information will be visible publicly as described above. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

10. Suspension / Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, abuse the platform, or fail to comply with payment obligations. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect once posted on this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
